Best Schools Offering Human Resources Degrees and Programs
A bachelor’s degree in human resources is typically available through the management department or business school of a university or college. The core courses are in labor management, labor law, employee compensation, employee development, statistics, information technology, and accounting, among others. There will also be literature, cultural studies, social and natural sciences, arts, and communication.
Some universities and colleges use “Human Resources Development” in referring to the degree while others prefer “Human Resources Management.” Either way, there are a number of schools that offer a Human Resources degree including the University of Houston, New York University, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Indiana University-Bloomington, the Universities of Michigan-Ann Arbor and California-Berkeley.
